Godfred Kwabena Yeboah is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the POKKO Foundation. Steadfastly committed to child welfare and sustainable community development, Godfred oversees the foundation’s day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, accountability, and results across all programs and administrative functions.

As COO, Godfred ensures the smooth execution of the foundation’s strategic vision by aligning internal processes with impact goals. He leads cross-functional teams, manages organizational resources, and builds systems that support scalable and sustainable interventions in education, healthcare, and child development across underserved communities in Ghana.

Godfred brings years of hands-on experience in non-profit operations, community engagement, and program management. His leadership is grounded in a deep understanding of grassroots realities and a strong capacity to build operational frameworks that deliver measurable outcomes. Since the foundation’s inception, he has been instrumental in building structures that translate vision into action.

Before co-founding POKKO, Godfred worked in various non-profit and volunteer roles, where he honed critical skills in project design, community mobilization, and stakeholder coordination. His time as Project Coordinator at Change Effectors Ghana sharpened his ability to lead complex, impact-driven initiatives that strengthen communities from the ground up.

Godfred’s private sector experience also adds a unique edge to his operational leadership. As Sales Manager at WYA Europe GmbH, he successfully led multicultural teams and implemented growth strategies across regions. This background now informs his strengths in business operations, organizational efficiency, and strategic partnerships at the foundation.

Godfred holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana. His ability to combine strategic oversight with grassroots execution makes him a vital force in the foundation’s mission. He is passionate about creating systems that not only empower children but also strengthen communities through sustainable impact.

Driven by the belief that every child deserves opportunity, dignity, and support, Godfred continues to shape the operational backbone of the POKKO Foundation—earning donor confidence, fostering partnerships, and delivering long-lasting change where it matters most.

Sabina Nimako is the driving force behind the POKKO Foundation, where she serves as Co-Founder and Executive Director. A passionate advocate for underprivileged children, Sabina combines a wealth of international experience, academic excellence, and a deep-rooted commitment to community empowerment to lead the foundation’s strategic direction and impact.

Long before POKKO was officially founded, Sabina had already demonstrated an unwavering dedication to child development. In her community, she mentored schoolchildren, encouraged their academic growth, and personally donated books and learning materials to those in need. These early, self-initiated efforts were not about recognition—they were about action, compassion, and creating a better future, one child at a time.

Sabina’s passion is matched by a strong professional foundation. She holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Steinbeis Hochschule in Germany and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. Her academic background in leadership, organisational psychology, and policy has equipped her to design sustainable programs and lead with both empathy and precision.

Professionally, Sabina has worked across borders, gaining valuable experience as a Business Analyst with FZ Solar Beteiligungs in Germany, where she contributed to international development projects and business strategy. She later returned to Ghana to launch her own water production company—an endeavour that deepened her understanding of grassroots challenges and sharpened her entrepreneurial acumen.

As Executive Director of POKKO Foundation, Sabina has translated her passion into tangible impact. Under her leadership, the foundation has built a growing network of partnerships with stakeholders across the public and private sectors and has implemented programs in education, healthcare, and child welfare that directly improve lives.

Her ability to blend vision with execution continues to inspire trust among donors, development partners, and communities. Sabina leads with integrity, innovation, and a results-driven mindset—qualities that ensure every donation to the POKKO Foundation is used efficiently, transparently, and in service of its mission to empower the next generation.
